35 Days, 35 Days, 35 Days!

Erin here - today my husband said he needed a few ideas for Christmas gifts for me. I replied -"you obviously don't read our blog!?!" ... well, now he has lots of ideas - with more to come.

I would love to have this fun Party Girl hanging out with me at home. You will find pages of fabulously funky Metal Sculptures at Frivolous Tendencies. The artists behind these designs use salvaged materials to create their unique sculptures. Take a few moments to browse the shop - I love the movement in the various pieces.

37 Days ... I Better Get Shopping!

Hi - Erin here, for my addition to the wish list I would like these lovely soaps from Morgan Street. I have used Morgan Street soaps in the past and just love them, the hard part is picking the scents. A few years ago I gave the Mini Bundt Cake Soaps to my friends as a Christmas gift (of course I saved one for myself) - these soaps are so realistic you want to take a bite and they last for a long time - I would cut a little slice every few days and leave my shower smelling wonderful. My friends enjoyed theirs too! Oh, I'd also like a soap dish.

The Count Down Begins ...

Since the big day is only 43 days away we have decided to post an Etsy found item a day that we would love to see waiting for us under our tree Christmas morning.

Our first wish comes from Michelle Prosek - a Hand Carved and Fused Glass Tile - titled Enoki Twist. This lovely glass tile is hand carved, fused and hand shaped to make it a one of a kind unique piece of art. Michelle's shop is a real wow - take time to browse - her Night Lights are also great.

In Honor of the Debates

MIDWEEK SPECIAL ...

Get Out and Vote Bracelet. It's time to exercise your right TO VOTE and be proud. My county (Spokane County in Washington State) went to an all mail-in balloting system - no more voting booths, no more "I Voted" stickers, no more sharing that sense of community pride - not in who you voted for but that you did!!! So I made this bracelet as a symbol of my pride in being able to vote.

So what's the special - purchase this Perfectly Patriotic Bracelet - mention "Blog Special" in the comments section on your Etsy purchase (or convo us) and we will refund all the shipping costs for this bracelet and any other items you purchase(from us!) with this bracelet. Don't hesitate we only have 5 bracelets available with the star toggle clasp - this special will run through Thursday(or until the bracelets are gone). Need a different length? Just mention that in the convo - there is also a matching necklace. Please VOTE and show the world how much we care about our country also take a second and answer our poll question. Check back next week for our new special.

Jumping into the Blogosphere....

We are excited to start blogging but for now you'll have to settle for what we are working on today. Erin is visiting Amy in Virginia for a business planning meeting (hehehe). Needless to say, being serious together does not come naturally. Side-splitting laughter doesn't mix well with coherent blogging~ so back to work we go. Visit us again soon to see more posts.

Wow- it only took us 45 minutes to add photos -we've become even more UnStrung - the laughing stopped after about 15 minutes and the count down to Margarita time began ... 1 hour and 58 minutes left. Guess we'll go make some earrings. Check back tomorrow for our progress. Bottoms Up! Amy & Erin
